We are very lucky to be part of such a strong community in and around Langwith and Shirebrook.

We have strong links with Holy Cross Church, with regular visits at Harvest, Christmas and Easter, and monthly assemblies with Rev Karen Bradley

We celebrate the ex-mining heritage of our local area and we have recently supported the Miners Memorial Fund. Many of our pupils took part in an art competition to celebrate the unveiling of the memorial, and we were very proud of our winning pupils and their masterpieces. These are currently on display in Shirebrook miners welfare.

We are very grateful to our local community for their support with our fundraising and many donations of raffle prizes we receive. Particular Thanks go to Morrisons and Tarmac this year who supported us with our fundraising towards our Residential trip for Year 5/6 at Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire.
