At Langwith Bassett we have a very active and enthusiastic Academy Council which meets regularly with Mrs Lyons to discuss and issues, concerns or ideas our pupils have about life at the academy.

Our councillors are voted for at the beginning of each academic year and represent the views and ideas of their classmates.

This year, along with Bassett Business Kids, they have been helping to develop ideas and fundraise for our outside reading area, which is an ongoing project, and have been helping to maintain the school garden. They are also fantastic judges of Academy events such as our Easter Bonnet Parade and our World Book Day dress up competition.
